Terms of Service for SelfAI AI Photo Studio

Welcome to SelfAI - AI Photo Studio. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the SelfAI application (the “App”) and the website at www.photo-ai.app(the “Website”), operated by Rocket Digital Limited (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By using our App or Website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1. Description of Service

SelfAI is an AI photo studio application that allows users to generate professional headshots, portraits, business photos, and creative images from uploaded selfies and photos. The App is available on iOS (Apple App Store), Android (Google Play Store), and as a web application at app.selfaiphoto.com.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use our services. If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agrees to these Terms on your behalf. By using SelfAI, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements.

3. User Accounts

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. User Content and Photos

4.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of the photos and images you upload to SelfAI. By uploading content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process your photos for the purpose of generating AI headshots and portraits as requested by you.

4.2 Generated Content

AI-generated images created through SelfAI are provided for your personal and commercial use. You may use generated images for LinkedIn profiles, resumes, social media, business websites, and other professional or personal purposes.

4.3 Content Restrictions

You agree not to upload content that:

  • Contains images of persons without their consent.
  • Is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or defamatory.
  • Infringes on any third party's intellectual property rights.
  • Contains explicit, violent, or inappropriate material.
  • Is intended to impersonate another person for fraudulent purposes.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

5.1 In-App Purchases

SelfAI offers in-app purchases and subscriptions managed through RevenueCat and processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. All payments are subject to the respective app store's terms and conditions.

5.2 Subscription Terms

  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
  • You can manage and cancel subscriptions through your app store account settings.
  • Refunds are handled according to the policies of the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

5.3 Price Changes

We reserve the right to change subscription prices. Any price changes will take effect at the beginning of the next billing cycle following notice of the change.

6. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
  • Use the App to generate images for harassment, fraud, or impersonation.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the App's infrastructure or servers.
  • Use automated systems or bots to access the App.
  • Share your account credentials with third parties.
  • Create deepfakes or misleading images intended to deceive others.

7. Third-Party Services

SelfAI integrates with third-party services including Firebase, RevenueCat, Google AdMob, OpenAI, Microsoft Azure, Replicate, Fal.ai, Google Analytics, and Meta Pixel. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of these third-party services.

8. Intellectual Property

The SelfAI App, Website, branding, and all related intellectual property are owned by Rocket Digital Limited. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of our intellectual property without written permission.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

SelfAI is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated images will meet your specific expectations. Results may vary based on the quality of uploaded photos.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rocket Digital Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of SelfAI, including but not limited to loss of data, profits, or business opportunities.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to SelfAI at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hong Kong.

13. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Your continued use of SelfAI after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
